There’s high drama in Sri Lanka just hours before the results of its presidential election are declared. The opposition candidate General Sarath Fonseka says there is a conspiracy to assassinate him and he may flee the country. General Fonseka spoke exclusively to News X soon after he went into hiding. He’s moved into a hotel in Colombo’s suburbs and has booked an entire floor for him and his staff. The area has also been surrounded by armed guards to keep Fonseka safe. Fonseka has also appealed to international governments for help.
